What Sunday Super League is

What it is

Sunday Super League is a free web app for running the league of a group of friends who play every week.

It covers five a side football, basketball, handball, padel and tennis, with a per player table across a season.

One admin records who played and the score, and the league table recalculates on the spot, still on the pitch.

Who it is for

It is for amateur groups who already play together and want a real table instead of a WhatsApp message.

Every league is private. Only people with the invite link or QR code get in, and nobody outside the group sees the table.

How it works

1. 1Someone creates the league, picks the sport and sends the link to the group.
2. 2At the end of each match, the admin records the teams and the score.
3. 3The table gives 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw, or whatever the owner sets.
4. 4At the end of the season, the final table is kept and a new one starts.

What it costs

It is free for every player and every league. There is no paid plan and no match limit.

The service will be funded by Google advertising, which is not live yet. There will never be ads on the screen where a result is recorded.

What it is not

It is not fantasy football. Nobody drafts professional players and no points come from televised games.

It does not book pitches, does not show professional league results and has no public social network.

It has no usage analytics and no tracking. The app ships with no analytics SDK and no error tracker.

Who makes it

It is made and maintained by one developer in Portugal. The server is in Nuremberg, Germany, and the data does not leave the European Union.
